We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Digital Transformation Team. 

What does a Business Analyst do?

The Business Analyst is critical to help us positively change as a business. They will be responsible to help improve business processes, drive MSite adoption and future opportunities and support business growth and improvement through the use of data analytics and reporting.

You will support on-going growth and increase in projects, the Digital Transformation Team now has an opportunity to welcome a Business Analyst into the team. Based in our Liverpool office with a split between office and home working, this is an exciting and varied role that will expose you to all parts of our business - from operational processes and customer requirements right through to system implementations, including implementing new ERP systems. We're working on some exciting projects at the minute, so no two days are ever the same.

We're looking for an analytical individual who likes to question the status quo and can do so in a personable and assertive manner. Around you will be a supportive, multi-skilled team who work closely on most projects and have a reputation for creating positive change across the business.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Process Improvement

  • Issue investigation and problem solving to identify areas of improvement.
  • Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders when necessary.
  • Identifying ways to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
  • Support with implementation of ERP system across various business functions.

Data Analysis

  • Analyse large data sets and use them to extract meaningful insights for customers.
  • Support the Data Analyst in building visual Power BI reports for internal and external use.
  • Support DTM with forecasting/commercial analysis.
  • Support the DTM with market and product research with rich narrative and data driven output to support business strategy.

Stakeholder Management

  • Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole, making recommendations to improve internal team networks.
  • Support staff and teams with changes in process, including helping to resolve any issues.
  • Track and monitor adherence to process and take action to remain on track.
  • Work with external stakeholders to understand and investigate feedback into the service, function, or product that will impact their needs.

How to stand out



  • Industry training accreditation e.g. Foundation in Business Analysis


  • Industry technical qualifications e.g. Microsoft, SQL 



  • 3-5 years’ experience as Business Analyst
  • 3+ years’ experience using Excel / Power BI at an advanced level, specific capability in analyzing large amounts of data with advanced formulas, queries, data modelling and presentation.
  • History of effective requirements gathering and ability to demonstrate outputs.
  • History of issue/problem solving and ability to illustrate the process for this.
  • Sound understanding of core business processes e.g. sales lifecycle
  • Must be comfortable working at CEO / Director level (internal and external customers).
  • Can manage complex, multi-workstream projects.
  • Adapt at learning, understanding and efficiently navigating digital systems e.g. CRMs. 


  • Previous experience using data visualization tools such as Power BI.
  • 3+ years business analyst experience specifically within a technology software business
