PORTABLE SOLUTIONS GROUP PARTNERS WITH MSITE TO SUPPORT US EXPANSION

Construction site expert Portable Solutions Group (PSG) has forged a new partnership with leading UK-based workforce management and access control provider MSite to help solve major problems through proven technology solutions.

Combining more than 20 years of experience in the construction sector each, US-based PSG is partnering with MSite to roll out technology solutions that will make job sites safer, more secure and compliant with regulations.

The partnership has already begun to improve the adoption of technology by general contractors, with a petrochemical project benefitting from a bespoke job site solution in Houston, Texas, as MSite targets growth in the southern region. The bespoke solution includes multiple modular turnstiles that gather real-time biometric workforce data to increase life safety, security and productivity through greater insight and awareness.

"PSG has an excellent reputation in the US that spans the modular security and construction sectors. We will be working closely with PSG to bring our forward-thinking approach to workforce management to construction job sites across various industries. This partnership is all about combining the best practice found on either side of the Atlantic Ocean, supporting us in positively influencing US construction. With 800,000 construction workers already using MSite solutions in the UK and Europe, we expect this number to increase significantly as we work with PSG and its customers in the US. “Our experience in the UK working successfully with the leading names in construction has helped us to continuously appreciate the value of workforce management and how technology can truly change the fortunes of projects. Every worker should arrive prepared and feel safe on site, which is where we can help superintendents to maintain this promise and remain confident. The integrity of the data we help gather is of critical importance, going above and beyond the capabilities of a now outdated, manual approach to workforce management and job site security."

Nick Wilkinson
International Business Director at MSite

"We’re excited to collaborate with MSite as they expand into the U.S. market. Their innovative facial recognition technology aligns perfectly with the high standards of our MAC turnstile portals, offering seamless and secure access control solutions for our clients."
