Training Manager

Role Overview

To lead and manage on all aspects of our Product training. This includes; design, delivery and evaluation. You will deliver training to internal and external stakeholders ensuring that Product knowledge within MSite is excellent and that our customers have the skills and confidence to use our system.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

Product Curriculum Training Design

  • Develop and maintain a training matrix of ‘bite sized’ modules grouped to customer requirements and MSite propositions
  • Identify the audience for each module
  • For each module create:
    • Session plan – A step by step guide showing how this module is delivered in a train the trainer model
    • ‘How to’ video – Video outlining the steps to complete the task
    • ‘How to’ guide – Step by step ‘key stroke’ guide to complete the task
    • Webinar – A recording of the train the trainer session
    • Where different learners have different requirements, e.g. subcontractors vs site team vs business level users, tailor materials to be fit for purpose for that audience
  • Design and create the materials described above for new releases of Product functionality
  • Maintain, update and continually improve the Product Training Curriculum

 Product Training Delivery

  •  Confident and credible in running face to face, and on line, facilitator led training
  • Deliver product training to every new MSite starter
  • Run the ‘Product Curriculum’ for the Sales, Customer Success and Service Desk team
  • Deliver training to our business on all new product releases
  • Deliver site level training to our customers

 Customer evaluation and training coordination

  •  Work with the Account Managers to develop a training plan for each ‘named’ customer
  • Work in conjunction with the account managers to deliver the customer training plan
  • Evaluate MSite utilisation and identify potential training issues
  • Work with the Account Manager to plan any required training interventions for Customers with low system utilisation

 Training Evaluation

  •  Design a training evaluation process
  • Design training reports demonstrating the efficacy of MSite training
  • Report back to the business on the effectiveness of MSite training

 Service Desk Support

  •  Act as the training expert on the service desk, supporting customers with training queries
  • Call customer sites to collect feedback and check in on training requirements
  • Support the collection of site level feedback from the service desk

Qualifications and Skills

Essential

  • Recognised training qualifications
  • Technical product understanding and principles of product development

Desirable

  • Educated to degree level

Experience

Essential:

  • Confidence to deliver clear and concise training, presentations and web conferences
  • You will have at least 3 years’ experience as a training manager
  • Experience of learning techniques and identifying the most appropriate delivery mechanism for training programmes
  • Experience of being subject matter expert on all training requirements
  • Experience of training, coaching and developing the skills of system users in a variety of environments
  • Experience of delivering group or 1 to 1 training
  • Extensive experience of creating fulfilling and engaging training materials, both internal and external
  • Extensive experience performing online training
  • Strong technical knowledge of development and cloud systems
